http://www.davidoreilly.com/2008/07/rotating-grid-illusion What did you see? Why is it happening?
You see a large grid at first, and when you stare at it for a while you see multiple smaller grids inside of it. This is because the lines are moving so quickly. The lines move by more than one grid cell between two frames and the resulting visible motion is “snapped” to the smallest possible motion.
http://www.mindhacks.com/blog/2008/11/ganzfeld_hallucinati.html What is the Ganzfeld procedure? What is the outcome? Would you participate in this?
The Ganzfeld procedure shows the participant "unstructured" sensations by placing half ping-pong balls over the eyes so the participant can only see white light and by playing white noise through headphones. All of the participants saw many different things some nature, and other meaningful things. Yes, I would participate in it I think it would be very interesting.

http://www.sciam.com/article.cfm?id=seeing-is-believing-aug-08 What are the basic principles of shading in order to get 2-D to look 3-D?
These pictures show that the brain is influenced by multiple parallel information-processing systems. Some connect to the vestibular system, but the one that incorporates shape from shading does not. Just by shifting light this makes your brain see the 3-d rather than the 2-d.
